I found your site through your YouTube channel's description. Is that the only place you've advertised your site?

Your comment caught my eye since I've never seen you around on his channel(s) before.

ohh right i forgot i made that comment. yea it was very much a one and done comment i came up with on the spot with not a lot of thought behind it. i haven't really seen his videos(?) before but it popped up on my homepage and gave it a quick skim.

I'm not sure if he'd be comfortable discussing his previous channel because people he knows irl found it. But for a change of topic, have you been playing any games recently? I just started playing Okami and it reminds me pretty heavily of windwaker.

 No.16

>>15
understandable. i've heard of okami i think?? i remember seeing something to do with it while i was skimming the Hshop. as for the games i've been playing, its the same as usual for me. mostly tf2 and other valve games, but i've been experimenting with playing a very cool indie game called "No, I'm Not A Human." https://store.steampowered.com/app/3180070/No_Im_not_a_Human/ . alongside that i recently got my hands on an n64 and have been playing mm and oot alongside whatever seems good or funny on the flashcart that came with it

I've always wanted to play earlier zelda games after playing botw (emulated lol) but never got around to it. How are you enjoying your n64 btw? I never played on one.

pretty good. it can feel a bit jank first especially with how clunky the stick is but if you sit in the dark with a crt (or in my case a monitor because they're shockingly expensive for old technology) it can feel pretty cozy and fun. But yea i dont blame you for emulating and i'm "guilty" of emulating myself. before i found out my switch was vulnerable to tegrarcm i used to pirate and emulate a lot of games. and i still emulate the ps3 a lot specifically to play the little big planet franchise because those are some of the first games i had ever played.

 No.19

>>18
I don't think piracy or emulation is so bad, it's pretty much the only way to accessibly guarantee media preservation. Did you grow up playing the ps triple? I think the first game I ever played was Burnout Revenge on the ps2 (permanently affected my taste in music), but it's such a shame there's no way to purchase it legally, barring second hand.

 No.20

>>19
I definitely agree. I'm VERY pro piracy and pro emulation. Not only for preservation but for the fact that unless you want to buy an old console thats prone to failure and possibly a hard to find or expensive game (eg; wind waker) there's no other way to play it. As for the ps3 thing, I actually grew up on the ps4. I remember the first ever game I played was either LBP3 or Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare with my brother. I used to wake my father up at 5-6am and make him follow tutorials with me on how to make a lightsaber or how to do glitches. I used to watch a lot of glitchmaster7 and danx87, and infact glitchmaster7's "How to Summon Steven Isbell in LittleBigPlanet 3!" was the first fake video i fell for. I've heard of burnout before and I think i've seen some gameplay footage before but I haven't listened to the soundtrack before, So i'll give it a listen. (this is the afformentioned first video i fell for online https://youtu.be/2kTvSZUncDA)

I also got a ps4 in 2015 after convincing my dad to trade in my 3ds, wii and all the games I owned for it at gamestop (my ps2 ended up being thrown out after being unable to read discs). Words cannot describe how bad of a deal that was. But, it was the first time I was able to play online (cod, destiny), so it was sufficient to keep me distracted. I would beg and beg for ps plus subscriptions so I could play zombies with my friends too. Man, I miss playing split screen ps2/wii with my brother and mom, though.

Oh and if you're at all interested "Top of The World" by All-American Rejects was my favorite in game track as a kid lol.

a lot of my oldest and most nostalgic memories are dedicated to splitscreen. i used to wake up at 7am everyday and rush downstairs with my brother to eat my cornflakes and then play minecraft. i wasnt very good at it and whenever we played i would nag to play creative mode superflat and would always end up making builds that weren't super practical. I don't remember a lot of what I made but I think I was a big fan of hole digging. the only real memory of a build i have in my mind was a (very shitty) build of gulper from skylanders trap team. I remember having a wii from a lot earlier in my life and it was a hand-me-down from my cousin's family and I ended up breaking it by putting 2 disks in the optical drive :p

I'll give it a listen

I wasn't very good at minecraft either, and the only copy we owned was on pc, but I remember having so much fun spending hours on end with my brother taking turns playing and watching each other. There was this sky base I built attached to a massive "MINECRAFT" sign made out of glowstone and I remember working on it immediately after school for weeks. Haha and there was this time I made my brother bolt out of our bedroom by turning up the pc speakers after spawning in dozens of endermen and entering survival mode then telling him to unpause the game.

i remember seeing my brother's friend make a house in a cloud. i was fully convinced he had someone kept the clouds in place and then had built some sort of quartz or wool structure inside of them. not sure why i thought that :p

as for the song, in a weird way its very traditionally music. not normally the type of stuff i listen to but its quite catchy

What genres/artists do you listen to?

 No.29

whoops. i accidentally made a new post instead of a reply.

>>27
video game osts and as embarrasing as it is to say, extratone, breakcore/dnb, and hardcore. and a lot of hiphop. my top artists right now are kendrick lamar, mf doom, machine girl, and slippy mudman. some of my favourite osts are celeste, fight songs the music of tf2, and the original plants vs zombies.

I think Machine Girl did Neon White's ost, I think you might like it. I listen mostly to emo and post hardcore, Finch is pretty cool. Ico ost is also really good, probably one of best games ever made imo lol.
